Embedded Systems Research Engineer (Hardware)

Duties:

  1. Integrating biosensors (EEG, EMG, EKG, EDA, Temp, PPG, … )
  2. Rapid prototyping of biofeedback loops
  3. Designing, fabricating, and testing boards,
  4. Programming microcontrollers and developing firmware libraries,
  5. Preparing and presenting regular weekly demos of prototypes
  6. Working alongside a research team and actively participating in ideation and communication of ideas,
  7. Working with technical interns and contractors and freelancers,
  8. Working with the market-research team for an active understanding of the user space
  9. Working with product teams to transfer the ideas into products

Requirements:

  1. PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering/Robotics/ or Biomedical Engineering or Neuroscience or Computer Science or Physics
  2. 3+ years of experience in an engineering/research role producing demonstrable prototypes and products
  3. Comfortable working in a fast-paced development team
  4. Great hands-on skills for rapid-prototyping
  5. Programming experience in Python, C/C++, JavaScript
  6. Experience in microcontrollers, embedded systems, digital and analog circuits
  7. Great presentation and communication skills
  8. Passion to work on revolutionary products

Robotics Research Engineer

Duties:

    1. Rapid prototyping of wearable robots
    2. Designing, fabricating, and testing mechanical parts,
    3. Producing near-production documentation, blueprints, and 3D printing files
    4. Preparing and presenting regular weekly demos of prototypes
    5. Working alongside a research team and actively participating in ideation and communication of ideas,
    6. Working with technical interns and contractors and freelancers,
    7. Working with the market-research team for an active understanding of the user space
    8. Working with product teams to transfer the ideas into products

Requirements:

  1. PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering/Robotics or Biomedical Engineering or Neuroscience or Computer Science or Physics
  2. 3+ years of experience in an engineering/research role producing demonstrable prototypes and products
  3. Comfortable working in a fast-paced development team
  4. Great hands-on skills for rapid-prototyping
  5. Experience with 3D Printing
  6. A portfolio of designed and built robots
  7. Experience in applied control theory/engineering
  8. Great presentation and communication skills

  4. Implementing efficient C++ code for realtime machine learning
  5. Programming microcontrollers and developing firmware libraries
  6. Preparing and presenting regular weekly demos of prototypes
  7. Working alongside a research team and actively participating in ideation and communication of ideas,
  8. Working with technical interns and contractors and freelancers,
  9. Working with the market-research team for an active understanding of the user space

FocusCalm Account Executive (University Athletic Sales)

Background

FocusCalm is already used by Olympic teams, professional athletes, and coaches looking for better wellness outcomes for their players.With a big, audacious goal of getting our technology into the hands of millions of people around the world, we’re looking to expand our sales team to focus on the university/higher education space. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Identifying and pursuing new sales leads.
  • Helping our customers fall in love with our products and services.
  • Closing sales and agreements.
  • Following up to make sure our customers stay happy—and to see how else we can help.
  • Forecasting sales and tracking progress.
  • Ensuring customers are trained on purchased products.
  • Successful completion of motor vehicle report check is required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s and above degree
  • 4-5 years of experience selling into Higher Education
  • Strong customer service focus and customer relations skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adjust your message to suit the audience.
  • Experience selling into the university athletics space is a plus.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced technology start-up environment is a plus
