Focus1 Headband

The Focus1 headband incorporates BrainCo’s hydrogel sensors to provide a wireless EEG headband that’s accurate as well as comfortable, durable, lightweight, and easy to use. The Focus1 is engineered to enable individual use or to integrate dozens of headbands that can be managed and monitored simultaneously through a single portal or dashboard, with real-time individual and aggregate metrics.

Software & Algorithms

BrainCo’s team of research scientists and algorithm engineers have developed a new way to evaluate brain states. Rather than looking at the traditional five brainwave frequencies, BrainCo examines over a thousand EEG features of a person in real-time and uses a novel approach to brain modeling to determine brain states with unmatched accuracy. 

For prosthetics, our approach leverages the wearer’s intent to enable very high accuracy, fast training for the wearer and a much larger range of movements.

BrainCo’s technology and platforms are grounded in neuroscience and neurofeedback research.

Hydrogel Sensor

BrainCo’s engineering team invented a novel way to enhance signal quality to a degree that’s unmatched in the industry today. A combination of proprietary gel chemistry and electrical engineering enables our hydrogel sensor to detect brainwave signals with high accuracy with comfort and durability.  The sensor has passed bio-compatibility test.
